Adriënne van der Werf is a curator, researcher and writer based in Middelburg (NL) and Ghent (BE). Since 2018 she has been initiating various curatorial projects working with the performative potential of the exhibition format. In the past, she (co-)curated a.o. Maintenance, (2019), Enter Through The Void, Exit Through The Gift Shop (2020), Tarot editions (2021), Publiek Park (2021) and Francisca Khamis Giacoman, Caer Ascendiendo (2022).
She obtained her bachelor's and master of arts degrees in Art Science from Ghent University. In 2022 she did a mentorship placement at WIELS, Brussels, under the auspices of the post-graduate programm e in Curatorial Studies at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts – Ghent (KASK) she completed that same year. Currently, she holds the position of curatorial assistant at Vleeshal, Middelburg and is part of the curatorial collective Publiek Park.
